Straps Compatible with the Tudor Pelagos FXD

Commando: our recommended ZA strap for the Tudor Pelagos FXD.

Developed by ZA and Watches of Espionage for Commando Hubert’s Tudor unit watches, Commando has a direct connection to the FXD. Its elasticated webbing, single-pass construction and adjustable fastening reflect that purpose.

The Pelagos FXD has fixed strap bars, so a replacement must be able to thread around them. A conventional two-piece strap designed for removable spring bars will not attach in the same way.

ZA Strap Company is an independent manufacturer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tudor. Tudor and Pelagos are trademarks of their respective owners. Names are used here solely to identify the watches discussed.

Check your watch reference first

Tudor specifies a 22mm lug width for the standard blue FXD, reference M25707B-0001, and black FXD, reference M25717N-0001. Check the specification for your exact reference before ordering; this guide does not establish fit for every Pelagos or FXD variant.

Manufacturer specifications: blue FXD and black FXD.

Commando: developed for fixed-bar watches

Commando uses proprietary UK-made elasticated webbing, a French Rapco quick-release buckle and a removable open-gate stainless-steel slider. Its single-pass construction is designed for fixed-bar watches.

The webbing is 21mm wide and is designed to work with 20mm and 22mm lugs. It is not a 22mm-width strap. The stated wrist range is approximately 6–8.5 inches (15.25–21.6cm), with adjustment for wear over a wetsuit, drysuit or flight suit.

Before you fit your strap

  • Confirm your exact watch reference and lug width.
  • Check bar-to-case clearance and the threading arrangement for your chosen strap.
  • Follow the strap's fitting instructions; never force hardware or webbing against the watch.
  • Check the fastening and adjustment are secure before wearing it.

Our recommendation for the FXD

We recommend Commando for the Pelagos FXD because its development story and construction are directly connected to this watch. Check your reference and wrist size, then choose the elasticated strap developed around fixed-bar use.
